The fun thing about wine tastings for me is dispelling the multitude of myths that surrounds the world of wine and wine etiquette. As most Americans are not, unfortunately, brought up with wine in the home, they must rely on gossip, hearsay, and evil magazine score-mongers to teach them about the world's most enjoyable beverage. The fact is, wine is supposed to be pleasurable, elegant, tasty, eye-opening, uplifting, and fascinating. The mission of my events is to recapture and share the fruits of that sensibility.  - Evan Spingarn
